Got my eye on... Envelope Clutches

Whilst gutting out my wardrobe I noticed that I had a million handbags and only one clutch! I love my little clutch but it is too small to carry all my night out needs i.e. make up, camera, phone, keys, etc. It pretty much only fits a few cards, my phone and my keys (without keyrings). I have been browsing eBay for designer inspired clutches as I find that high street clutches can be too repetitive in design. My work has about 30 different clutches but the only thing different is the colours really. I want different textures, different colours and something unique that really makes my outfit POP! Is that so hard to ask for? I don't know where the above clutches are from, as I found these images on We Heart It, but if anyone knows then leave me a comment!

Not long until we head off to Amsterdam, just over a week. When I get back I am only home for two days until I fly down south to see my dad, I haven't seen him in three years so I thought I better do something to see him. My mum hasn't been doing to well and she is in hospital back home so I have been going back to see her, hence why my blog posts are so few. I think the week that I am in Amsterdam will be good for me, a real break from reality. I am going to turn off my phone and not worry about anything!

Statement Necklaces

New Look - £12.99

At work yesterday I bought a new necklace (above) and I love it, it is a real statement piece to wet with a plain buttoned up shirt or t-shirt. Like I have said about a million times before, I want to make my wardrobe more mature and I think that a piece like this can make that work. So, this morning I sat going through a few of my favourite online stores to find other pieces and I think that Topshop and Zara have some really lovely necklaces.

Topshop - £12.50

Topshop - £30.00

Zara - £15.99
Zara - £17.99

Zara - £15.99

There were a few other large necklaces at New Look that I liked, but I thought I should wait until I buy a few new shirts that would go with it before spending all my cash on massive necklaces. I don't know what it is that I love so much about them, they remind me of 80s style jewellery so maybe that's why I love them.

Louis Vuitton Fall Ready-to-Wear 2012

Look at this ad campaign. This is the most beautiful campaign that I have seen in a while. It is so charming and visually stunning, it makes the pieces looks timeless and desirable. I love how there was is no fusing over hair styles as the oversized hats cover the hair and it just looks perfect.

Usually I am not a huge lover of the classic LV printed handbags as I have seen too many fakes that ruin the beauty of the brand. Although, I am starting to come around from that illusion. I need these bags!!

The rich tone of red is so gorgeous and the embellishment works perfectly along with the leather. This bag is the perfect size for all the junk that I carry around with me. I loved how Marc Jacobs had bell boys carry the handbags and luggage for the models whilst they were walking around the catwalk. It was like they were stepping off the train into a historic era.

Did you notice how I said "train"? That's right, if you haven't seen the videos of the show it was SUPERB! They had a train drive into the venue and the models stepped out of the carriages with bell boys beside him. Now on to the shoes...

As most of you know, I love love love accessories. Take a look at this pair of shoes.

These are a work of art. The different tones of materials makes the shoes stand out from the under garments which the models wore. This collection is something that I definitely invest it.

Moschino Cheap & Chic : Resort 2013

This collection is sweet, charming and childlike in so many ways, that it reminds me of times when I was 4 years old when I would play in the sand at the beach. The pieces in this collection are definitely something that I would wear and I think that they are a perfect balance between innocence and maturity, perfect for the workplace! The colours choices are perfect for Spring/Summer, a mixture of pastels and brights. I love the sailor style and the patchwork effect on the dresses and skirts. I just want it all!

I think the piece that I desperately need is the origami sail boat handbag! How ridiculously cute is that! I also love the sheer shirts with the cottages digitally printed on them. I would love to live in a house like that when I am a little old lady. The other thing about the Moschino collection that I like is the price, I think it is really reasonable for what it is. So maybe I will save up some pennies and buy myself something special!

Bags Bags Bags

When it comes to fashion obsessions, I think it is pretty safe to say that I have a ing for handbags. I do believe that this is because I have quite large feet, so I find it hard to squeeze into pretty shoes and when it comes to pretty clothes, I can hardly squeeze into the dresses that I do want. Which means that I am left with jewellery and handbags to obsess over.

The above handbags are Vivienne Westwood, Alexander Wang and Phillip Lim 3.1. I love Vivienne Westwood handbags, I have a red heart shaped crocodile handbag and I treat like a small child, protecting it from harsh weather in it's wee dust protector bag. I do have my eyes set on a second Vivienne Westwood bag (the above one), so maybe if I have been good it will magically appear! Haha. Chance would be a fine thing!

If my money was endless, I think I would totally treat myself to a Celiné trapeze handbag. It just looks so grown up, which is what I am trying to do with my wardrobe at the moment. I am getting rid of the clothing that I would wear when I was 17 and trying to look a little bit more like a 22 year old!

I have been a bit M.I.A on Twitter the last few days, due to some family stuff. So I do apologise for being BORING!

OOTD: Aztec Day

Dress - New Look; Cardigan - Primark; Scarf - Lipsy

Today hasn't been full of exciting events, but I have realised that I really should tidy up my flat. My wardrobe has exploded everywhere and I can't find half of the things that I need. I do have work later on which I don't mind, because I really enjoy my job, I have lots of banter with everyone so every shift there is something to laugh about, but I cannot wait for my next day off so I can sort out more eBay things to sell.

I love this dress, I completely forgot about it until last night. I think that the colours really suit me as I more of an Autumn person (well... I think I am). I am struggling to find dresses that I feel comfortable in at the moment as I am between sizes and feel like a beached whale! Haha!

Yesterday I realised how little I have been updating my blog posts and I felt really bad because I love my blog and I love you guys for reading it. I have had a lot on my plate lately with university, work and my personal life, so I think all of those things has effected my mood to blog. It is time to snap back to action and get blogging more.

Anyway... Better leave for work!

Amsterdam Soon...

In a month I am going on holiday to Amsterdam with my lovely boyfriend and I cannot wait. Last night we sat and looked up some places where we want to visit whilst we are there and I think that the 'Cheese Museum' is one place that is at the top of our list! I haven't really been on a real holiday before, I have only been abroad twice (Germany and Paris) and those trips were with my high school and a University class trip, so this will be a REAL holiday for me! So I am super excited about it! I have tweeted for some advice or for places that are a 'must see' whilst we are there, so if you have any suggestions then I would love to hear them.

I have been working a lot of odd shifts this week so I haven't had much of a social life, but it means that I get to read more blog posts! I have been to the cinema like 3 times within the week and that is only because we have a Cineworld Unlimited card so we try and go see as much movies as we can to make the most of the membership. We went to see 'Dark Shadows', 'Prometheus' and 'MIB3'. I loved all three of them but here is some movie lover advice... Take tissues to 'MIB3'! Bit of a tear jerker. I don't think that 'Dark Shadows' got the most amazing reviews but I really enjoyed it, probably due to the fact that I am obsessed with Tim Burton movies and I am in love with his fiancé Helena Bonham Carter! I just love them. As a sci-fi fan, I loved 'Prometheus' but I did spot a few plot holes... But oh well, the movie was still great.

I am dying to go shopping, I have been saving all my extra wages for Amsterdam so I have had none to play with. I have eyed up about a million dresses at work that I need to have, but I am in the midst of clearing out my wardrobe for eBay so I really should stop filling in the gaps with more new clothes or else my boyfriend won't be able to hang up his shirts anymore!

Burberry Prorsum Resort 2013

I cannot wait for the next season to be showcased on the catwalks, but until then I have the Resort collections. (the collage above is a new thing, trying something new) Burberry always style their pieces so perfectly, it was hard to pick a select few pieces for this post. I love the classic cuts and tailoring and as for the colour palette, it works so well. I thought it would be a much brighter collection, but it is nice to see a clean tone.

This is a tiny post as I am testing this blogging app plus I need to go to sleep... Early shift tomorrow!

Erdem Resort 2013 Collection

Whilst browsing through Style.com at all the amazing resort collections I felt that Erdem really stood out to me. I have always loved Erdem's collections and their use of floral prints. The mixture of knee length, floor length and mid thigh skirts make sit easy to put together an outfit for any occasion. My favourite ensemble in this collection has to be the trouser suit, I don't think that I could personally pull of a trouser suit but I need this particular one in my wardrobe. This collection is something that Miss Blair Waldorf would wear!

Speaking of Blair, oh my god! Did you see the season finale of Gossip Girl?? Yikes! Anyway... back on subject.

I think what really makes these garments stand out from the rest, is the styling of the set. The natural tones in the flooring, chair and wallpaper makes the bright vivid colours stand out and compliment the models. The colour choices are superb and I would love for a piece of it in my life.
