Through Tommy Ton's Lense - Details of Fall 2012

Source

When it comes to a new season, it is not just the fashion shows that I look forward to drooling over I look forward to the fashion that walks along the streets. Tommy Ton's photos are stunning, they catch every bit of detail that is essential to creating the perfect outfit. It could be a ring, a certain cuff or even just a flash of colour that really sets the outfit off. These photos flood ideas into my head on how to make my wardrobe just that little bit stronger.

What Makes Me Happy

I have been so so so so so so busy lately with Uni work that I had to sacrifice my blogging time to focus more on that. To get me back on board I have been browsing We Heart It (like usual) to find photographs that make me smile. And here it is...

Iris van Herpen

After browsing through images on We Heart it, I came across an amazing photograph of a fashion piece that blew my mind.

This piece reminds me of the sandstone detailing of Gargoyles and structures that you would find on gothic buildings. I had to find out where this image came from and who created it. I am guessing that you have already read the title, so there is no surprise that the designer's name is Iris van Herpen. Now, I study fashion design and I can safely say that I know of a lot of designer's work but I have never stumbled across something this spectacular in a long time. I went onto Iris van Herpen's website to see what other creations there is and I was blown away even more! Here is the black and white images of the Capriole - Paris Haute Couture collection, hopefully you will love it too.
