Holidays Are Coming

Like I have said in the last few blog posts, I have been so so busy with life, work and University projects and I have not had any time to blog and I feel so terrible about it. Hopefully this blog post will be the start to more frequent posts again. Christmas is just around the corner and it is scary to think that tomorrow will be the beginning of December. I have start buying Christmas presents and wrapping them up in cute wrapping paper and string. I love wrapping presents! It is so much fun for me, but not as fun as buying new decorations for the tree. I have bought so many cute little kitsch/vintage style baubles and objects to hang from the tree (I shall be doing a separate post on these later). I love spending cold evenings watching my favourite shows/movies with hot cocoa and my new slippers - look below, aren't they the cutest!! I have always wanted elf slippers (or shoes).

At University I have a few projects going on at the moment and I cannot wait to give you a wee glimpse into what I have been doing and designing in my studio space. I shall just say 'gloves' for now...

Inspiration Pictures

The last week or so has flown past. I have been busy with Uni work and running around the place. I have been working on a blog for my University creative thinking class and it can be seen here. It is all about my research for my ongoing project for one particular class and I love writing it, but it does mean that this blog does feel a bit neglected, but no need to worry, I am not going anywhere...

As you can tell by the above images, I am feeling a little inspired by nature and I have found these images on We Heart It - one of my favourite image based websites. I just love the woodland and the stars at the moment. I just love nature!

Busy Little Bee

It has been a while since my last post, but let me tell you that I do have a reason. I have had a pile of work to do for University projects and I thought I would let you have a peek. We have to create four boards for a project - a 'yellow' board, a client board, a fabric board and a fabric board. I love this class, you can really expand your creativity when it comes to finding the client of your choice.

Sorry that this is a short post, but I have a lot on my plate. I will be updating again on Wednesday - hopefully! It is my birthday so I will upload some photos of my presents onto a new blog post.

Time for Tea?

Where has the week gone? As I sit here with one of my closest friends, Eleanore, after demolishing a bag of Cheese Doritos whilst watching Big Love, I realise that it has been a while since I last blogged. Well, on this blog anyway. That's right, I started a new blog but it is for my university class and it is all about art and design, and all the projects we have been working on. If you want to take a gander then head on over to:

My birthday is just around the corner and I am getting quite excited because I know what my amazing boyfriend has bought me and I cannot wait to get my grubby little fingers on it! I will show you all a photo of it when I get it, my birthday is on the 16th!!

This year will be my first Christmas in MY home, not my parents house, not my boyfriends parents house, but OUR house. So I have been watching Kirstie's homemade Christmas to get some amazing ideas on how to make out home perfect for Christmas and I am so happy.

So, that's all for now. I will keep you updated more on whats happening in my life later in the week. Oh that reminds me, I need a cuppa!
