Thursday business!

My deepest apologies on being absent the last couple of days. It has been one of those weeks!

I placed an order at the beginning of the week with Eyeco for some new products! Mostly their nail polish though, because I am simple in love with it all! They arrived today and I am so excited to try another colour! I am a bit addicted to the 'Lilac Polish: For Lovely Nails'. So, I had to buy another one because I have nearly ran out! YIKES! Here are the Eyeco products that were sent:

I ordered the Eyeco Fat Balm (Cherry) because I have heard wonders and I am a firm lover of lip balms! ESPECIALLY cherry ones!

The names of the nail polish from left to right:

  • 'Petite Polish: For French Nails' (Freebie).
  • 'Lilac Polish: For Lovely Nails' (Back-up).
  • 'Rain Polish: For City Nails'.
  • 'Military Polish: For Brave Nails'.
  • 'Posh Polish: For Ladylike Nails'.
  • 'Pastel Polish: For Nice Nails'.
To help me decide what colour to wear next, I did some quick swatches! (I use the 'Petite Polish...' for a base coat or just clear polish to prevent nail stain!)

I shall be away for the weekend celebrating HALLOWEENIE at my boyfriends, so unfortuneatly no posts, but I shall be taking lots of snaps so there should be some INTERESTING photos!

Have a wicked Halloween!

Sunday Best!

Today was a glorious day! After Ewan finished work last night we drove back home to my wee village to visit my mum. We arrived at near 2 o'clock in the morning, so we were exhausted! It is only an hours drive away but my boyfriend finished after midnight.

We went to see my grandparents this afternoon for a good ole Sunday roast dinner! Beef with trimmings... yummy! It was such a lovely day, apart from the ever changing weather!

I went to ASDA on Friday night to have a week looksie in the George sale and I managed to spend £50 smackers! Some of it wasn't sale items but I really liked them! Here are some photos:

I was so chuffed when Ewan pointed out that they had size 9 shoes! I have been looking for a pair of leopard print pumps for a while now. I really love the clothes I chose! I could of bought more but sometimes I get very stressed with sales racks. I think people's brains just shut off and they completely trash the section just because it is reduced in price! Someone has to pick that up you know! How rude! haha.

Also, all my books arrived!

I am already planning on cooing some of Jamie's dishes next weekend as it it mine and Ewan's 3rd year anniversary together! YAY! (kinda scared at the same time). I am also wanting to bake a red velvet cake! Pictures will have to be taken! I am also in love with Dawn Porter's book! I cannot seem to put it down! I am reading whilst the photos upload onto this post! haha!

Oh I almost forgot...

Look what my boyfriend bought me!

I love creme eggs and I am always sad to see them leave after easter, but they have brought out a green version called scream eggs! YAY!! Yum yum yum!

I bought a bag of monster munch and my heart sank after taking this photo as I realized I picked up a bag of ROAST BEEF FLAVOUR! YUCK! :(

My granny gave me a little present though! I was telling her how much I love halloween and she gave me this little basket! How cute! She has had it for a couple of years but they don't get children coming to their home anymore so she thought that I would benefit from it! I cannot wait to fill it with homemade cookies or something!

And I thought that I would finish todays photo crammed post with a lovely photo of me! (wearing my mac Violetta lipstick!

Have a nice night!

Lost in the week!

Hello there to my lovely followers!

How has everyone's week been? Mine has been upside down, back to front, too quick, too slow, blah, blah, blah... I keep thinking that it is days that it isn't and I am getting so confused with everything.

So, this week I have been a busy little bumble bee at University. Lots and lots of drawing nude models and I am exhausted! I would upload photographs of my work, but I think I might keep that part of my life a little bit private, for now!

I have been craving to go shopping, but with my work schedule for Uni and my job I have had no time! There is a SALE on at TOPSHOP and I haven't even had a peek! Life is so unfair! haha!

Tonight, I am planning on relaxing to the max (well, as best as I can). I have rented two movies: 'The Joneses' and 'The Last Song'. I have heard mixed reviews about Miley Cyrus' film, but I have been wanting to see it since the beginning of it's filming. I am going to nip to ASDA later with the 'husband' and I might see what they have in their clothing section. Last time I was there they had a huge cream jumper with a stag on it! So, I might finally give in and just buy the bloody thing instead of picking it up and changing my mind to seconds later. Do you ever do that?

Anyway, apologies for the short post, but I am going to put the heating on and snuggle up with a cup of tea now! Have a nice night!

DELFINA DELETTREZ

Told you I would be back!

Whilst browsing the web for inspiring photographs that I could use for my own style collection I notcied the most incredible jewelery popping up every now and then. For about a week I searched the web to find out who makes these pieces. I finally found out who. Delfina Delettrez! Delfina Delettrez Jewelery is amazing. It truly is! It looks like it could bring out the dark side in you. Here are some images that I found via Google Images, so I do not take any credit for them:

I think that out of this lot, the eye ring is my favourite! It is just stunning! I love how the skeleton hands are meant for your hands and they are just fantastic!

What do you think?

Tweet Tweet!

Good Evening!

I have been blogging for a while now and I still get very very excited when I have new followers when I log in. I have been using Twitter and Tumblr too. I would love for people to follow me there as well as on here!

If you have a Twitter, Tumblr or even a blog of your own that you would like me to follow. Just leave me a comment and I shall have a wee peek.

On another note.

I had class today and it wasn't as exciting that I thought it would be. The theme was 'Skeletal Structure', so basically the lecturers set up a MASSIVE collection of random junk and stuck some skeletons in it. It was harder than I thought to draw, mainly because we had to use a biro pen and tipex on beige paper! So frustrating! Here is a picture I took from my seat (sorry about picture quality, taken with Blackberry):

I am planning on relaxing tonight. I am exhausted! Sorry that this is a short post, but I have to cook my tea now. Will probably do another post later on!

Sunday, October 17

One of those days...

I love Sunday's.

Mainly the reason being that it is my day off from work and University. I tend to wake up, clean my flat, nip to the shops and relax as the day slips away from me.

I FINALLY bought this month's ELLE magazine, so I must catch up! ELLE is the only magazine that I buy (unless I am in a mood for a bit of a celebrity gossip).  I feel bad when I do not buy it the day it is released. Whilst I flick through the glossy pages I shall be watching TV out of the corner of my eye. Come Dine With Me is on just now, so I am enjoying that. I love cooking shows and with this show I love the mixture between all the different levels of cooking skills and the bitchiness of it all, haha.

I bought some books from amazon today. The Hummingbird bakery cookbook, Jamie Olivers '30 Minute Meals' and the amazing Dawn Porter's 'Diaries of an Internet Lover'. I heard it is a bit dirty, Shhhhh!

I cannot wait to start baking amazing cakes, pies and cupcakes from the cookbooks. That my favourite part, DESSERT!

I am going to cook me some pasta, pesto and mozzarella for my tea. So...

House : Urban Outfitters Kitchen

Afternoon!

Next Summer, my boyfriend and I are going to move in together. I am so excited, but terrified at the same time. One thing that I am looking forward to is to buy some really cool household stuff from Urban Outfitters. If you have never looked at their stuff, you totally should! It is a mixture of kitsch and retro in my eyes. Here is some of the things that I would love to have (I am going to have to 'compromise' with my boyfriend though haha).

Popcorn Bowl £5
Cupcake Salt & Pepper Pots £7
Pip Studio Teapot £35
Pip Studio Sugar Bowl £10
 Tea Cup Plate £6
Regency Cake Stand £40
Babushkups - Pack of 3 £20

These items are just from the Kitchen section, there is heaps more awesome stuff. I shall keep you posted about what I find!

Winter Boots

Hello!

I finally bought some winter boots. I have problems finding shoes that fit me because I have size 9 feet and high arches! Basically, I have elephant feet! I tend to fall in love with shoes and when the sales assistant says they don't go up to a 9, my heart shatters and I actually feel a little depressed! Luckily New Look go up to a size 9 in certain shoes. I found two pairs of boots:

The ankle boots have a fleece lining at the top of the boot and on the underside of the tongue so they are mega cozy! The longer boots are just cool! haha. I am a bit worried though, I am not too sure what to wear with them! I no longer wear skinny jeans so I am thinking just cute dresses with chunky
knit tights or leggings.
Any other suggestions?

I also received my MAC Venomous Villains lipstick! It arrived when I was out on Wednesday so I had to go three miles to the delivery company to collect it! Quite a big box for two lipsticks (I ordered two of the Violetta lipsticks because I will probably never see them again).

I also had a wee spy around Primark and I found just a couple of cute things. A nice double fingered LOVE ring, a snake bracelet and an AWESOME pair of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 'Lounge Pants', aka PJ bottoms! They are so cool!

Just before I was picked up by my Prince Charming of a boyfriend, I had to take pictures of the area where my University campus is. The campus is situated on the outer parts of the city, and there is so much countryside and amazing autumn colours, so I took some pictures!

Such a beautiful day! Now, I must go get showered because I have work to get to! Yay!
