I am sitting in my Snakes & Ladders PJz, watching Kenan & Kel writing tonights blog!

How is everyone today?

I don't feel 100%! I am just getting over the bug I had, but I am on the mend!

I was working today, it flew past! I love it when that happens. I walked home at a very slow pace and when I opened my front door I was greeted by a pile of mail (That rarely happens, unless its the electricity bill)! 

I got a nice card from my mum, we sometimes write each other, rather than phone calls. Sounds a bit weird, but it's nice!

A letter came from the University which I iwll start attending at the end of September telling me how to enroll online -DONE! :D

There was other stuff too, but at the bottom of the pile was a little package... EYECO MAIL!!!!

I failed to resist their pink collection of nail polishes! I am terrible!In the space of a week, I know own 6 different Eyeco nail polishes!

From left to right: 'Petite Polish: for French nails', 'Tea Rose Polish: for Country Nails', 'Punk Nails: for Neon Nails' & 'Chi Chi Polish: For Girlie Nails'.

 

I took a photo with and without flash to show colour. The paints start on my thumb (the pinky doesn't have anything on it).

 

I decide to go for 'Tea Rose Polish: for Country Nails' because I like tea, I guess!

 

I always try and remember to use this! I get dry hands from work and this helps soften cuticles when doing manicures.

 

Plus, because I spent over £10, I got this free lip gloss! I swear they are mind readers! I love cherries!

• 'Petite Polish: for French nails', is really pretty. It is a very very pale pink, almost transparent. So, if you want a suttle polish, this would be good for you!
• 'Tea Rose Polish: for Country Nails', is a dusty rose colour.Very nice! A vintage feel to it too!
• 'Punk Polish: for Neon Nails', well... it's... NEON!
• 'Chi Chi Polish: for Girlie Polish', is so sparkly! Goes on beautifully! I love the poodle on the bottle!

In this blog i shall show you the make up swatches of the Eyeco products which I received this week. Plus, some clothes which I bought!

 

This Lilac Polish is beautiful! (Please excuse the mess around the nails, I hadn't cleaned it off at this point). 

 

This is the black eyeliner pen. You can angle the brush differently to get different thicknesses!

 

This is the lipgloss which was my free gift.

 

Although it just looks like a smudge, this is the lipgloss swatch.

• The nail polish went on smoothly and it was so beautiful that I took a picture of my hand and uploaded it on Twitter! I wore it to work and got so many compliments! I had to remove it last night though :( I am on a different department tonight and I am working with food, so it has to be removed, booooo!
• The eyeliner was so simple to use, kind of like a felt tip pen. It went on easy but was slightly harder to remove compared to my previous eye liner. 
• The reason why I took another photo of the lipgloss tube is: It has a light! I didn't notice the button on the lid and when I pressed it, the lipgloss tube lit up! Handy on a night out! The colour is a bit disappointing, quite plain, but hey! It was free! :D

How adorable is this jumper?! I got it from Primark for £11.

 

I got this rose pink blazer(it looks coral in this photo, but it is rose pink) from New Look in the sale for £6!!

 

I love the detail on the up turned cuff!

I am totally going to wear my little blazer to Uni when I start!

I have to dash now. Need to get ready for work (day off tomorrow, yes!).

Eyeco Make Up!

eyeGood Morning!!

How are my lovely followers doing today? I still feel a little ill, but hey! Life goes on!

This morning I was woken by a knock on the door. It was the postman. He handed me a tiny little box and I got extremely excited!

This is what it was:

 

 

 

Inside was lots of treats!

• I got a new black eyeliner, that came in an Eyeco bag. 
• An Eyeco cream with extra glow. 
• Two beautiful coloured nail polishes. 
• And a free lipgloss that has a little mirror stuck to it! How cute!
• Including a large Eyeco sticker and a code to be used the next time I purchase something! 

In my next blog I shall do some swatches! I am totally going to wear one of the nail polishes for work today... but which one!!?

Must dash! I have to go get a shower and stop being lazy!

New Things!

Hello there!

I know that in my previous post I said that I was really poor. Well, I cracked! I got a few things in PRIMARK, so I didn't break the bank I guess! Here is what I bought:

 

This necklace is really cute! At only £2 too! I bought two of them... just in case!

It even opens!!

That is the jewelry that I bought, I did buy some clothes, but those images are on the other camera that my boyfriend let me borrow. I still have to work out how to upload the images!!  So, they shall be in the next blog (probably in a little while).

Wish List: Playsuits

Hello my lovely followers!

How is everyone on this lovely Sunday? As you can probably tell, I am in a 'lovely' mood! This is my day off work! Plus, I am off tomorrow! My boyfriend and I took a trip to Costco today (not a very couple thing to do on our day off), I love it there! I got a HUGE jar of Skippy peanut butter... I think it is the best! AND we got a MASSIVE chicken pizza for our movie night tonight! I can smell it just now... AMAZING!!!!

Anyway! I am really poor this month! And I will be even more worse off next month! BOOOOO! I opened an overdraft with the bank three years ago, and I have never needed to use it.  But, my shopper urge is taking over and I am getting extremely tempted! My boyfriend keeps talking me out of it though. So, I have to resort to filling up the virtual basket online on one of my favourite websites... www.asos.com! I think EVERY woman, man and child should look at this site (if fashion is one of their things)!

If you haven't had the pleasure of being acquainted with this site... you should! It takes outfits in which celebrities wear, and creates a garment that is similar. It also has some really cool stuff!

My obsession right now is Playsuits.  I do not own one, which I think is a sin for a girl! I think they are adorable! But, my problem is, I think I am too big for them.  I do tend to have to get the next size up in clothing when the hips are involved! I have really big hips! And the fact that I am not the slimmest, makes it a bit difficult too! ASOS have some really cute playsuits in my size though! I think that I would wear them with leggings underneath though. I have really pale legs, covered in bruises! I am so clumsy!

This playsuit is amazing! My boyfriend doesn't like it! I love how it is bold colours and a mixture of prints!

 

This is the back of it (obviously). I am not too keen on open backs like this, so I would probably pair it with a cute cardigan!

I love the monochrome effect! Bright coloured accessories and knitted cardigans would go great with this!

 

I tend to avoid Navy, as I never know what goes with it!But, this is an exception!

 

The print on this playsuit just makes it extra cute! Very girlie!

My Make Up Tutorial!

Hello my lovely followers!

In the previous blog, I said that I am more of an eye-liner/mascara girl. So, I took photos of the stages that I take to get my make up look. But, be warned! There is a photo of my face completely make-up free!!!

So, here we go...

 

 Here is my normal make-up that I use. The image is quite clear, so I don't think I need to explain everything.

  

These Benefit products are AMAZING!

This product is from Avon. I don't know how much it was or what it is actually called, because my sister gave it to me. But, it is a cream mouse for eyeshadow.

You were WARNED! 

 

Me without make-up. Pretty horrific!

 

After applying the Boi-ing concealer and the foundation.

 

This is how I like to apply the High Beam to give a nice glow to my eye and to hide the darkness under my eye a little. Using a sponge to blend it in.

 

Using a cotton bud, i rub the eyeshadow cream across my eye lid to create this.

 

Thought you might like an open eye shot too.

 

After applying the liquid eyeliner across the top and using the pencil on the inside. You can create a heavy look.

 

This photograph isn't the best. But after applying a coat of each the mascaras and the blusher, that is the final product!

I hope that you guys liked this photographic tutorial. I will do others when I change the style.

Make Up & Nails

Hello Again!

I have decided to upload a very poser picture of me with my make up done (I took the photo a few days back). I very rarely wear eyeshadow. I am more of a heavy eyeliner/mascara chick!

 

Here is an up close photo of my eye make up. I like it quite simple. But, I do think that it suits me!

 

Now that I have changed departments at work, I am allowed to wear nail polish (oh yeah!) because I do not handle fresh food. I paint my nails with clear nail polish before I paint them, to stop the polish staining my natural nails. I decided to paint them with my favourite Chanel polish:

 

This polish is a very very light pink. And I think that it is really pretty! I go between bright pinks, pale pinks, gold and black. I do have EXTREMELY bright yellow polish, but it stains my nails and makes it look like I smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day!

Bed Rest

Today, I am very ill!

I am lying in bed, watching Charmed and catching up on the blogs which I follow. I really love how I have a couple of followers, but I want to make my blog a bit more interesting.  I do have some ideas...

• More 'What I Am Wearing' blogs.
• Make-Up/Nail Polish testing blogs.

I have no idea where I should position my camera so I can get a good shot of my outfits. Plus, I cannot find my charger for my 10megapixel camera, so I have to use my rubbish little camera. BUT! Hopefully my boyfriend (who is a photographer) will let me use his old BIG camera! So, fingers crossed!

I have some photos which I took from when I was in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago, which I forgot to upload. Including some pictures of some clothes which I bought. I shall upload them in the next blog in a bit.

Right. I must nip off. I have to hunt for my camera; put a baked tattie in the oven; have a shower and clean my pig sty of a room!

Bonjourno!

Hello there!

Sorry it has been a while since I last blogged! I have had a lot on my plate right now!

I have been working six day weeks, so that exhausts me right out!

Last night I went to see BLINK 182 live in concert... AMAZING!

Plus, my boyfriend and I have decided that next Summer we are seriously going to be buying a house together! Scary stuff! We haven't lived together yet, but he is ready to buy, so I am just along for the ride for now!

We have roughly decided what style we want to decorate it, but I just can't shut up about it! I am super duper excited! I keep looking on weheartit.com for ideas! Here is some images I came across on www.weheartit.com that I have kept for nearer the time!

 

This closet desk is so cute, I love how girly it is!

 

I would love a SMEG fridge! My boyfriend said we could get one... if I pay for it! BOOOO! I think I would prefer a mint green one though!

 

This is such a pretty living room! I really like the bright colours against the white!

Anyway, I thought that I would share some ideas that I have for my little housie!
